What the heck does this mean?

I had a really twisted dream the other night where my mom and I got carjacked and robbed by a homeless man. He knocked her unconscious with his gun and put her in the backseat, then got into the driver's seat and told me that he was going to kill me, and then himself. I told him that just because he had made some bad choices in his life, didn't mean that he had no value to the world and had nothing to contribute, and that he could turn things around for himself. I told him to pull over at an ATM, I would get him some money, and that there was an outdoor hockey rink nearby where he could hide for the night in the team boxes, which would protect him from the wind. He didn't stop at the ATM, but he stopped the car in the back lane behind the hockey rink, pointed the gun at my head and said, "I won't kill you. You've been given a second chance. Make something out of it." Then he took off.

what I think
Dreams are never literal meanings everything is imagery, if you know imagery then you can interpret your dreams pretty good. A good way is keeping a dream journal, write down you dream after you have it then re-read it and see if you can figure it out but here is what I think you dream means

The act of being car jacked and your mother unconsious could mean that at times you have felt or feel very helpless toward others. Your words to the man could have been a mirrored image of yourself the choices you have made.

The car could simbolize that you have wanted to run away from you problems or confrinations or even have despite the plea or advice of others, the money is interesting to me i think it means that you have had the chance to get many things that are less then good but have decided against it despite presure which is good. The ice rink is a manifestation of protection you might have put around your self for things you did not want to face "protection from the wind" as you said.

You might have been subconsiously protecting your self from something you need to see or you need to face in your self or your life. His last words say just that, turn around and look at the problem that might be facing you and if ther is no problem your subconsious might be wanting you to look around you and be more awear of things.

Hope that helps, you can email me if you have any questions eyesdevine@gmail.com
